The Bold and the Beautiful
The Bold and the Beautiful is a Sierran soap opera that has been on the air since 1987 on CBS. Here is how the series is broadcast in Nara.
Broadcast[edit | edit source]
Ashtalaia[edit | edit source]
Bensonia[edit | edit source]
The series was never popular in Bensonia. At first, it was broadcast by the now-defunct Headline Network in 1991 before abandoning it after some time, and was later shown on Ensign Television in the end of the decade.
The Superstation, a now-defunct channel operated by Onetree Television carrying Sierran shows, carried the soap during its existence.
Catalonia[edit | edit source]
The series was one of Quatre's longest-running programs. Known as Vellesa i poder, it moved to a sister channel for women in 2011.
Flarland[edit | edit source]
The series first aired on IBC in 1989, and changed hands several times since then. In 1994, the FBC secured a four-year deal that was renewed in 1997, however was broken in 2000. Currently the series airs on Channel Thirteen. Unlike other countries, ratings for the series are very poor.
Sony Entertainment Television (now Sony Channel) aired some episodes from the late 90s during its first two years of operation. The series was dropped due to lack of interest.
Pakifas[edit | edit source]
The series airs on TV3 Pakifas since 2007 (and during its prior existence before the May 2003 vindication). Beforehand, it was broadcast on Channel 2 (now VOP Two) and PTV 1 (now VOP One) before TV3 Pakifas opened and during the intercalary period when the channel was suspended, respectively.
Great Scorria[edit | edit source]
Up until 2003, the series was shown on TV3. It moved to TV One yet returned to TV3 after it regained the local rights in 2011.
Iteria[edit | edit source]
Lenapore[edit | edit source]
The series was broadcast on TV Works between 1999 and 2003. Episodes up until 1994 were broadcast.
New Michillies[edit | edit source]
Northulia[edit | edit source]
The soap first aired on November 23, 1987 on Network Ten and was briefly cancelled in 1989. The series has become the longest-running soap on the network when Neighbours moved to Eleven. The series had little to no censorship, as more "objectionable" material had to be removed from the episodes. Changes to the Code of Pratice resulted in the soap being less censored due to the pre-watershed regulations, yet end credits are still excised from the main channel.
In December 2018, Ten inevitably rebranded 10Peach (the former Eleven) as 10Beautiful and became the home for repeats of older seasons of B&B (with significantly less censorship than in the past) and same-day repeats of the day's episode during primetime. On TV and on Ten Play, episodes are roughly three weeks behind the US.
Real[edit | edit source]
Shown on RTR and NTR in the past
Swilatia[edit | edit source]
The series is known as Moda na sukces (Fashion for Success) and premiered on STV 1 in 1994. The series premiered with episode 216 since the first 215 episodes were "too distant from the Swilatian reality". Its longevity has led to the series' local name being a synonym for something deemed "boring" in comparisons. The series moved to Nowa in 2015 because SRT's viewership of Moda na sukces has been decreasing and the cost of licensing was getting higher. Currently the series is available online.
