Pro Tect
Pro Tect, a nicknamed adopted by Richard Perston-Oates, was the de facto president for life of South Arlesbury between December 1 1980 and December 4 1989.

Richard was born on June 19, 1921.
In 1979, he adopted the name Pro Tect, after the committee he founded, the PROTECT Committee.
On December 1, 1980, Pro Tect became the de facto president of South Arlesbury, having won the Crystal Night. Four days later, his team killed the North Arlesburian prime-minister and nine years of hatred between the two countries began.

The PROTECT committee was created in 1979, but wasn't publicly mentioned until the Crystal Night.
Bans for women[edit | edit source]
Under the PROTECT Committee, women had to be veiled, and always in black. The ban was lifted in 1986. Schooling was denied, but was lifted in 1981, but with restrictions. Other bans included:
- Driving any kind of vehicle (lifted in 1989)

Protective Retaliation is an alternate history television series produced by South Arlesburian and North Arlesburian companies set in an alternate reality where Pro Tect was never assassinated and eventually takes up most of Eurectipheria as a "new Hitler".
