Ethnica Television was a Hopelandian provider of subscription television and some radio to immigrant communities living in the country. The service was also available, yet mostly illegally, in Bensonia and Great Giana. The company started services in 2000. In 2010 it entered administration, with reports coming in from staff saying that the company was "surviving with what it can do". In 2011, it merged with Astro, forcing it to improve its international offering.

History[edit | edit source]

Service started in February 2000.

Channels[edit | edit source]

If a channel doesn't have the period in parentheses, then it was carried from start to end. With exception of the channels that left before 2011, all channels joined the Astro platform.

Bankruptcy and merger with Astro[edit | edit source]

Reports emerged in May 2010 that some of the content providers decided that paying for three nationwide satellite lines was too much.
