2019-present[edit | edit source]

On August 14, 2019, it was formally announced that Channel Ten would soon become a part of the new Times Media Group, following the announced merger of the two companies. No date is set for the relaunched operations. One of its sister channels, the Ten News Channel, might shut down due to antitrust regulations.

The merger was aborted in 2020 likely due to the effects of the then-coming pandemic.

In 2021, Channel Ten's Ten News Channel was replaced by CNN Flarland.

In 2024, Channel Ten overtook IBC in ratings for the first time since January 2019.
