YTel, named Yawnaroan Telecommunications Autbority until 2022, is the telecommunications corporation of Yawnaro. Until 2021 it was owned by the FTC until it was sold off to a binational tax haven seated in Eumoritown and financed by Lenaporean businessman Ōmi Matsumoto.

Yawnaro had limited infrastructure for much of the twentieth century. Following the end of the Second World War, and during the period of mainland conquest, a small telephone company (Telephone Exchance Corporation) was created in 1948.

YTel has been operating the digital terrestrial network since its inception. In December 2021 it announced the launch of a new multiplex featuring YTel-run channels operating from Eumoritown, Y1, Y2 and YSports.
