Voice of Pakifas (Pakifan: Makee e Pakifas) is the state-run broadcaster of the Flarlandian overseas territory and free-associated state of the Pakifas.

History[edit | edit source]

Radio was introduced to the Pakifas in 1935 as a mere extension of the Voice of Flarland known as Voice of Flarland for the Sondria-Northulic Region. The station was "nationalized" by the Pakifan territorial government in 1936 and was split between the VOF station and the officially-created Voice of Pakifas service.

Television broadcasts commenced in February 1962 under assistance of Thomson Television, yet the channel was operated entirely by VOP. Thomson/TIE left VOP Television at administrative level in 1964 but continued providing programming for many years.
