The Tsaykin Republic (Tsaykin: HaRepublika HaTsaykinim) is a sovereign state in the border between Eurectipheria and Sondria and located on the northern fringes of the Caucasus Mountains.

The Tsaykin Republic has been largely influenced by the former Soviet Union and Russia in general yet maintains a more sovereign position.

History[edit | edit source]

The Tsaykin Republic is a result of a Jewish migration gone wrong. During the Islamic conquests in the Caucasus, the Tsaykins lived in a blockade of relative isolation. This isolation forced them to create their own culture and language, as a calque of Hebrew.

Von Tammert[edit | edit source]

In 1720, a Hartungian immigrant was sent on a mission to explore territories in the Caucasus. The territory was encountered by Tammert as a "unique region, a bridge of cultures".

Soviet era[edit | edit source]

The Tsaykins became a Soviet republic in 1918. The country was mainly atheist by then, as most Jews had fled abroad, and even the Jewish population in other parts of the union were expelled due to an irreligious policy. Out of all the republics, the Tsaykins were the ones who were the most adapted to Communism.

The first president of the Tsaykin SSR was Hamrin Bertumokhits, who promised to continue the ideologies imposed by Von Tammert nearly two centuries earlier, adjusted for the new regime.
