The World Keeps Turning was a Flarlandian talk/comedy show primarily catering world issues, in the vein of Comedy Central's The Daily Show, but as a standard talk show format. The show premiered in January 2005 on a regular weekday timeslot (weeknights at 11:30) but over the course of time it got promoted to primetime, had its number of weekly editions cut (from 2015 to cancellation it was only shown on Fridays) and became more and more controversial in the later stages of its run.

Shithole Ranking[edit | edit source]

The FBC took an unusual step in keeping the term "shithole" uncensored from its coverage of a controversial speech done by Ronald Dramp in January 2018. In response they created the Shithole Ranking (also uncensored), which lasted for two weeks. The ranking was sent using online votes to see "which country is a shithole". Surprisingly Ashtalaia led the ranking with 190 votes, followed in second place by Joseon with 112 and Mechazena in third with 109.

This segment proved to be controversial because of its supposed definition of Ashtalaia and the rise of the term thak as a pejorative.
