TM Television is a commercial television channel in Karasa owned by Timakoi Mechiwin Holdings. First established in 1972 as the Timakoi Mechiwin Educational Channel (TMEC), as a closed-circuit television service at first and then as a terrestrial television network, it was a bilingual educational channel. By the late-1990s, with KNT 2 and KNT 3 taking over much of the educational output formerly held by TMEC, the channel adopted a more generalist output - to the point where the former name TMEC was dropped in favor of TM Television (as Timakoi Mechiwin switched from an education services company to a diversified conglomerate).
