Ngamiben (frequently abbreviated Ngami or NMB) is the capital of the Pakifas and is also taking the role of a county. Its population is of 36.867 people as of a 2018 census.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
There are two possible theories for the ethymology behind Ngamiben.
In the Pakifan language, Ngami means "vast" and Ben means "place". Therefore the city's name can be constructed as being "Vast Place".
However some defend that the name is a corruption of the ancient kingdom of Ngramipen, subsequently simplified to Ngamiben.
