  • 18/08: ABC/Mediacorp, Aoshi, Sports: The 2018 Sondrian Games started in Ilyu and Chulsaeng. For the first time, the games are contested in more than one city and also in Aoshi, and aims to promote better international relationships between Aoshi and the rest of the world.
  • 19/08: Al-Jazeera, UME, Religion: For the next few days, an estimated two million Muslims worldwide will gather in the holy city of Makkah in Mussulmenia for the Hajj. The Mussulmenian government has decided to modernize facilities and added capsule hotels (based on the Oriencian concept) for free in order to respond to the growing number of pilgrims.
  • 19/08: NABC, North Arlesbury, Breaking: Peter Burnham, president of Union Cement, dies at the age of 58.

  • Mediacorp, Joseon: The presidents of Daehan and Joseon participate in a meeting. Plans for denuclearization are underway.
  • 28/09; XBC/Mediacorp, Rangeedu: The analog television services transmitted by the soon-to-be-decommissioned Rangeedu television transmitter (XBC, Channel 5, Sakura) switched back to static at around 20:30. The exact cause of the outage, a few months ahead of analog switch-off in Lenapore, is unknown, yet the people believe thay the equipment used is outdated.
  • 29/09: XBC/Mediacorp, Rangeedu: Signals return to the Rangeedu television transmitter. The transmitter will be constantly supervised until December 31 so that there will be no outages until the government-mandated date for the shutdown of analog transmissions. Had the transmitter been out for over 48 hours in a row, it would have been decommissioned.

  • 05/10: TVGS, Kimberly, Breaking: A new Cirnegossai trial was made in order to restore order to its leased customer base that amounted to around 400,000 at bankruptcy time.
  • 27/10: At 01:00 UTC (02:00 WET), clocks go back by one hour in the Eurectipherian Union, Valeria, Monte Carlo, Nordland and the Ashtalaic countries.

  • 15/11: SABC, South Arlesbury: Journalists gathered footage of the May 2018 political crisis, specifically the vandalism at government facilities.
  • 27/11: TVGS, Kimberly, Breaking: Former president of Great Scorria, Charles Lewis, dies at the age of 57, having been diagnosed with cancer last year. He was the president between 1998 and 2006 and initiated a series of economical reforms under the Great Scorria First program.
  • 27/11: CBS, Breaking: Stephen Hillenburg died at the age of 57. He was notorious for creating SpongeBob SquarePants, a television series that became one of Nickelodeon's prime sources of revenue worldwide.

  • 10/12: XBC/Mediacorp, Rangeedu, Politics: The government of the Xalxas Autonomy has finished the drafts for the 2018 Autonomy Budget. Priorities are being taken for the improvement of schools in the autonomy.
  • 23/12: Sondrian News Network, Hindolania, Breaking: A tsunami hits the area near Anak Kerakatau. Over 200 people reported dead.
  • 25/12: XBC/Mediacorp, Rangeedu, Breaking: The Rangeedu television transmitter is once again showing signs of no transmission at all. Nearly three months have passed since the last outage and there is just one week left for Lenapore to switch off its analog signals. The Media Regulatory Authority will look at the situation and will plan to reinstate its signals between the 26th and the 28th of the month. In contrast to the other outage, this time around 20% os Xalxans are still dependent on analog terrestrial transmissions. A noticeable decrease from the 45% of the previous outage where Xalxans were forced to redeem DTV kits.
