History[edit | edit source]

Allied Broadcasters was set up in the mid-1930s. During the war it was popular as Real remained neutral.

Network of Television Relays was set up in March 1957.

NTR was created following the 1975 merger of Network of Television Relays and Allied Broadcasters in order to create a much larger operator for both radio and television.
