The Media Regulatory Agency (MRA), known as the Lenapore Broadcasting Authority (LBA) until 2000, is a Lenaporean government agency that oversees the control of radio, television and the press.

History[edit | edit source]

The MRA was formed as part of a series of reforms in 1994. The privatization of the Lenapore Broadcasting Corporation, the rise of local television stations and Lenapore Cable Vision were crucial to the development of the new agency. In addition, the MRA would also fund television programs in a similar way to other agencies like New Michillies On Air.

In 2000, the MRA was restructured, the funding functions were moved to a new government agency, the Media Development Authority.
