Magical Bean Hunt
Magical Bean Hunt is a Tangwan-Lenaporean animated series created by Jang Mangkreng, animation by Breeze City Animation Chongfang in Tangwa and with support of the Chongfang Television Broadcasting Corporation-TV3, with additional assistance from Lenaporean companies and Mediacorp. The series debuted on Tangwa's TV3 on December 18, 2004 and it was picked up by numerous broadcasters in the following year. In June 2005, an English dub produced in Lenapore began airing on Kids Central and was shown worldwide.
Premise[edit | edit source]
The series is set in the fictional world of Nakhajiro (Nakajiro in the Japanese and English dubs). A 9-year old boy named Jung (Jun in the Japanese dub and John in the English dub) is sent on a journey to find the Seven Beans of Equality. He is warned by a pink fairy named Wara as the evil Wikra is threatening to turn the people of Nakhajiro into a poverty slum.
In Phase 1 (episodes 1 to 13), Jung is forced to battle evil Tangwan mythological creatures and eventually defeats Wikra. In Phase 2, more of the past of Nakhajiro before Jung's birth is revealed.
