In the last day of summer, Nuri realizes that he has been living under such circumstances for seven years. However, Dead Atlantis forces people to redo their daily lives. Nuri sets out on a journey to end the machine, and, in turn, the company. In a decisive moment, Nuri and Michael both kiss Priscilla, before achieving their goal: the three become merpeople and now have happier lives, to the sadness of their respective progenitors and Nuri's still human sister, who marries with his love. The episode ends with animated versions of the voice actors "breaking the fourth wall" and handing over a trophy to Nuri Evenstar himself, ending with a specially-composed theme, the Nuristar Fantasia. The last shot of the episode is fanart of Nuri, as a merman, holding hands with merman Michael and mermaid Priscilla, accompanied by the phrase "Best Friends Forever".
Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]
- Nuristar and the Search for Dead Atlantis (August 5, 2011)
A television film. Nuri and friends travel to another dimension, using stolen equipment from Dead Atlantis. Turns out that the alternate dimension they go to is controlled by Dead Atlantis, who imposes tight restrictions to merpeople, who live underwater in a real democracy. The leader of Dead Atlantis controls much of hte surface world, with a Flarlandian government in exile living in Eumoritown. Dead Atlantis has taken control of Nuri's hamster in that dimension, changing his appearance and becoming Orgazma Gizmo (voiced by Khyber Waterman), an evil "khybernetic" machine bent on extending world domination. Nuri finds comfort in an organization known as The Resistance, who is fighting against a Dead Atlantis paramilitary organization known as Golden Dawn, who threatens to kill opposition leaders. At a mine, the kids set out on an expedition to kill the leader of Dead Atlantis and switch Orgazma Gizmo off for good, but Orgazma backfires the plan. Eventually they travel across "the continuum of 60 alternate dimensions", only to return to their home dimension. Unbeknownst to them, the Dead Atlantis organization has arrived to the real world and threatens to impose inter-dimensional control. At the headquarters of the "real" Dead Atlantis, Nuri discovers that the leader is "a child" compared to his alternate version, while the alternate counterparts defeat Orgazma, finally switching him off. With the aid of Michael's cloning machine, he clones Nuri's hamster to his alternate self, proceeds to defeat the leader of Dead Atlantis and leads to the shutdown of Dead Atlantis and Golden Dawn. Eventually they have amnesia and cannot remember anything from the inter-dimensional travel. Nuri then puts the pictures on his computer, as if they were Photoshopped montages. (7.6)
