Khyber: The Animated Series is a Flarlandian animated television series airing in on FBC 3 from April 23, 2013 to 2016 that moved to Channel 14 in 2016 and serves as a fictionalization of Khyber Waterman's life. The series was announced following the popularity of The Khyber Entertainments.

On March 8, 2018, it was announced that the series had been renewed for a fifth season, expected to air in June. A feature film, Khyber: The Animated Film, is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 27, 2018.

Halfway through the fourth season, it became a co-production with Ajakoo Johnson-Roberts' production company Intense.

Following Khyber's resignation from the presidency of Couch Slave Entertainment, the series was now made entirely by CSE.

Premise[edit | edit source]

Khyber Waterman is a Flarlandian merman superstar, living in a somewhat standard house in Warley. He is known to have a superiority complex to Rhett and Arrow.

In season 7, Khyber has oficially left working at Couch Slave, but hilarity still ensues.

Characters[edit | edit source]

Main[edit | edit source]

  • Khyber Waterman: Self-determined "leader" of his trilogy. He has a really big ego, to the point that he sometimes gets a little selfish.
  • Rhett Waterman
  • Arrow Waterman

Recurring[edit | edit source]

  • Kalajani Whitchester: A "deformed" clone of Khyber Waterman who appears in his room. Khyber Waterman inspired his personality on Senor Cardgage, a Homestar Runner character.
  • The Controller: A television controller (supposedly representing FBC 3 (and in later seasons, Channel 14) who sees the existence of Khyber's show as a threat to the channel. He gives Khyber a series of difficult challenges in order to give Khyber his show and life back.
  • Eileen Bewes: Still alive (and kicking) and gave up her career in spying, Eileen isn't remotely interested in gaining Rhett's heart again.

Episodes[edit | edit source]

The series has 26 episodes in each season. Almost every episode is divided into two segments like a conventional television series. The episode guide given here corresponds to the Flarlandian airdates rather than the production order. Also listed are the ratings in number of viewers in millions.

Reviews[edit | edit source]

Production[edit | edit source]

According to Couch Slave data given to the official forums, episodes take two to three months to finish, with the brainstorming sessions for each episode sometimes taking longer than the script.

Recently episodes take longer to produce, especially due to disagreements and creative divergences between writers and artists working at CSE. The last new episode aired in December 2021.

The series is scheduled to have an eighth season soon. Khyber Waterman has already complained about how the constant production of the show causes a burnout of his image.
