Irirangi Māori (Māori Radio) is the nationwide Māori radio network of the New Michillies, broadcasting predominantly on the AM band as a complement to the Iwi Radio Network. Like the IRN, it is funded by Te Māngai Pāho under a "national service" to contrast the IRN's regional stations.

The network is headquartered in Wenderland and its staff consists largely of people from various iwis. It is one of the fewest radio broadcasters in the Northulian continent not to operate continuously, as services open at 5:40am and end at 12:10am. Programming is almost entirely in Māori with English being kept at a minimum, on a ratio of 90-95% to 5-10%. It receives half of TMP's radio funding (the other half is divided among the members of the Iwi Radio Network).

Programming[edit | edit source]

IM's network broadcasts up to nineteen news bulletins at the top of every hour on air. The first program of the day follows a pattern similar to NBS Radio 4, however, instead of the Shipping Forecast, IM broadcasts an extended weather forecast with Māori themes, including lunar and tide forecasts.

Throughout the day, IM broadcasts a wide variety of programs of interest to the Māori listener, with indigenous music, news, current affairs programming and some sport, with live Māori commentary.

Broadcasts end with a quick news summary at midnight, followed by a reduced edition of the weather forecast described above, a mention of the programs of the following day and the national anthem.
