Gibbon Island
Gibbon Island is an overseas territory of the Michillies located in the Hindic Ocean.

Gibbon Island was annexed by the Michillies in 1760.
Dispute with Northulia and Lenapore[edit | edit source]
Following the end of World War 2, the Michillies - who still had shared control with Nashland over Lenapore, was at risk of entering a dispute with Northulia, who was the de facto claimer of Christmas Island and the Coconut Palmtree Islands.

Geography[edit | edit source]
Gibbon Island is often seen as a small island, with a population of 3.000 living in it. The island is divided into two districts, Great Gibbon and Little Gibbon. Great Gibbon is the main urban center and Little Gibbon is the rural center.

There is only one newspaper, the Gibbon Tribune.
The Gibbon Broadcasting Corporation was set up in 1957 as a radio station and in 1987 started television broadcasts. Eos Gibbon Island (formerly Gibbon Telecom), a branch of the Michillian telecommunications company of the same name provides additional channels.
