A Wanian version of Dlife was launched in 2016 on the terrestrial network of Wa. The channel was initially created as a lifestyle outlet, but later expanded its programming to include sports overflow from ESPN. It also started its own news operation, being the only Dlife-branded channel to do so, in 2018, using resources from NBN and ABC.

History[edit | edit source]

Disney had operated three television channels, Disney Channel, Disney Junior and ESPN since 2014 on the terrestrial platform. An upgrade in 2015 meant that Disney was to qualify for a fourth terrestrial license. Said license was eventually given over to a localized version of the Oriencian Dlife channel, created in Orience as a FTA mixed lifestyle and entertainment channel.
