Channel 9, operating under the name of Channel 9 Dream Television is an undocumented Pakifan television channel that started broadcasting on April 17, 2022.

In order to avert the law, the channel is forbidden from carrying news programming.

The lineup consists largely of torrented imports.

History[edit | edit source]

Taking advantage of a gap in the Pakifan Freeview offer as a result of Voice of Pakifas' television downsizing in 2021, a 26-year old student applied for a license without documents. The regulatory body approved it and three other television channels, all broadcasting from Ngamiben, in March 2022.

Channel 9 Dream TV started operations on April 17 that year. The channel occupied the bandwidth of the former Pakifas Kids channel that started in December 2019 and was declared over in January 2021.

The channel broadcast in widescreen with a bug adjusted for 16:9 broadcasting. The logo was a 9 in the middle of two electron bands, a clone of Canal 9 Nimarania's logo.

Sometime in May the 9 changed font and the electron bands were dropped.

The channel is in an unstable situation, changing elements of its output near-daily, and repeats certain shows with more frequency.

On June 7, the channel changed its lineup and now displayed a new logo saying C9DREAM.

Confirmed programming[edit | edit source]

List may be inaccurate.

The line-up consists mostly of a mixture of old and new television series, no movies yet. Most of these series were broadcast on VOP's channels, TV3 Pakifas or Pakifan Screen legally before.
