The Bulungivision Song Contest is the youngest of the Big Four (song contests). It was first held in 2016. It is entirely the responsibility of the Bulungian Broadcasting Union, a union created in 2003, inspired on the EBU, to foster relationships between Bulungian countries.

Format[edit | edit source]

The BSC is inspired by the Eurectivision Song Contest, however, unlike the other contests, it consists exclusively of a final. The BBU allows twelve to sixteen countries taking part in each contest. Also, South Bulungi, where the BBU is headquartered, is an obligatory country in every edition of the contest.

Controversies[edit | edit source]

Mussulmenia[edit | edit source]

Out of all countries that are members of the BBU, Mussulmenia is in a dire situation, due to its conservative state. The country will never plan to enter a contest due to "ideological differences".

LGBT controversies[edit | edit source]

One of the South Bulungian singers was accused of being "hated by the international community" as there are countries there LGBT content is outright banned form television.
