Demographics[edit | edit source]
As per a 2023 census, the country has a population of 189.456 inhabitants, the third least populous country in Tyntalsya. The country is almost homogeneous, about 90% of the national population is of the Botojan ethnic group. About 5% are part of the Kahi and Eastern Hakki groups in the western islands, the latter of which is native to Hopeland and resides mainly in West End.

Both radio and television were introduced early even for the standards of a small country, radio was introduced in the Hopelandian puppet era in 1923, television in 1958.
