History[edit | edit source]
Individual Banks of Hamamoto and Kamiyama[edit | edit source]
In the 19th century, the overseas provinces of Hamamoto and Kamiyama, at the time a part of the Oriencian Empire, had individual banks. They were, however, independently-owned, and were not dependent on banks from "mainland Orience".
Merger[edit | edit source]
Creation of the BoI[edit | edit source]
Following Orience's surrender in 1945, the former BoI under Oriencian rule was nationalized and became the new Bank of Ishigaki.
