Araka is a sport indigenous to the Xalxas Autonomy. It had a longtime status as a "minor sport", however it gained mass international recognition in the 2010s.
History[edit | edit source]
Araka's history traces back to the 4th century BC, when the first known Xalxans were playing a rudimentary araka, where there was just one team. For many centuries, this rudimentary game was slightly limited.
Play[edit | edit source]
Araka matches commence with three groups of six players arranged in a circle with the team's seeker in the center.
