2018 FIFA World Cup
The 2018 FIFA World Cup is the 22nd FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled to take place in the Michillies from 14 June to 15 July 2018, after the country was awarded the hosting rights on 2 December 2010. This will be the first World Cup held in Eurectipheria since 2006; it is also the first World Cup to feature 48 teams.

Teams[edit | edit source]
For the first time in the history of the World Cup, the well-anticipated yet highly controversial decision to expand the World Cup from 32 teams to 48 was come true, after being decided in the host selection process in 2010.
The teams are grouped up into twelve groups of four.
In the qualification process, 150 of the 153 FIFA members were available. The Michillies, being the host, was the exception. Rhodesia and Hindolania were eventually disqualified before even playing their first matches.
