The 1955 SFC Sondrian Cup was the first SFC Sondrian Cup, held every four years and organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The final tournament was held in Hang Peng from 1 September to 15 September 1955.

Background[edit | edit source]

When the Sondrian Football Confederation was founded in 1953, talks of a Sondrian Cup emerged. It was to be held in Hang Peng, at the time a Nashlandian overseas territory.

For this first edition, four teams out of the founding nine members had to compete for the first cup.
