13th Avenue
13th Avenue is a Flarlandian television soap opera. It apparently inspired the creation of the South Bulungian soap 7de Laan.
History[edit | edit source]
The first episode was broadcast in 1997.
Premise[edit | edit source]
The series is set in a fictional cul-de-sac in the titular 13th Avenue (possibly an allusion to the fact that it airs on Channel Thirteen).
Broadcast[edit | edit source]
Flarland[edit | edit source]
13th Avenue is broadcast by Channel Thirteen. The soap does not attract huge ratings unlike The People of the Valley, the channel's other local soap. Although the series started off with ratings exceeding two million, currently most episodes range in the region of 600-800,000 viewers. Episodes air at 1:30pm.
Iteria[edit | edit source]
The series was rather unsuccessful. Rai brought a package of over 200 episodes corresponding to the first season and aired it on Rai Tre in 2002. Of the 200+ episodes, 40 were broadcast and 162 were dubbed.
North Arlesbury[edit | edit source]
The series airs on TNA 1.
Northulia[edit | edit source]
The series aired on 9Gem between March 2016 and 2017, starting with episodes from 2013. Due to low viewer interest, the series was canned from the schedule.
Nosghel[edit | edit source]
The series was one of the many international soaps carried by Channel 7 in the 2000s.
Reitanna[edit | edit source]
The series aired for a brief while on regional television channels. Currently it airs on Telenorth in Hobart.
South Bulungi[edit | edit source]
The series airs on SBBC 3. SBBC 2 carries a "de facto" local adaptation, 7de Laan, since 2000.
